Site Launch

I was finally able to dedicate the time to create this site. While I have several other webpages, this one is concentrated on my professional clay work, sculpture and pottery. Sometime within this next month, I’ll be going live with my online sales through this page, so stay tuned.

I chose the particular piece of mine above as a representative icon for my work, because it incorporates several of my favorite disciplines, on top of its overall aesthetic. It was commissioned as a wedding gift for the couple represented. The base is a wheelthrown stoneware lidded jar while the figures are sculpted in the same clay body as the base. Getting to spread my wings on this project was such a pleasure. The piece holds up for me as one of my top ten favorite works, which is saying something considering the thousands of pieces I’ve produced over my decades long career as a working artist.
